Systems for independent houses, usually 1 kW to 5 kW. We size it from your EB bills and the shadow-free space on your terrace.

These places use most of their power in the daytime, which is when panels produce the most.

Larger systems for buildings with a heavy daytime load.

We file the net metering application with EB and the PM Surya Ghar subsidy form for you.

Pick the size closest to your Bi-Monthly EB bill to see a rough cost, subsidy and payback period.
Based on typical rooftop systems in Chennai.
The subsidy is for houses only. Cost, saving and payback are estimates, and we confirm them at the site visit.
The cost range is our current price list. The top of the range is the list price and the bottom is ₹30,000 less, depending on the panel brand, roof type and your site. Bi-Monthly saving and payback are estimates, because they depend on how much power you use. The PM Surya Ghar subsidy is for houses only: ₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW and ₹78,000 for 3 kW and above. We confirm eligibility at the site visit. Cost, subsidy, savings and installation, answered plainly.
Before subsidy, a 1 kW system costs about ₹72,000 to ₹1,02,000, a 3 kW system ₹1,98,000 to ₹2,28,000, a 5 kW system ₹3,04,500 to ₹3,34,500 and a 10 kW system ₹5,90,000 to ₹6,20,000. Where you land in the range depends on the panel brand, roof type and your site. Homes can get a PM Surya Ghar subsidy of up to ₹78,000, so a 3 kW system comes to about ₹1,20,000 to ₹1,50,000 after subsidy. We give an exact quote after a free site visit.
Most homes see the EB bill drop by 70 to 90%. A 3 kW system saves around ₹3,400 a month, so it pays back in roughly 3 to 4 years after subsidy. Panels last 25 years or more, so the savings carry on long after that.
Houses are eligible for the central PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana subsidy: about ₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW and ₹78,000 (the maximum) for 3 kW and above. We confirm eligibility after the site visit, and we fill in the subsidy application and the net metering papers for you.
Plan on 80 to 100 sq.ft of shadow-free roof for each kW. That works out to about 250 to 300 sq.ft for 3 kW, 400 to 500 sq.ft for 5 kW and 800 to 1,000 sq.ft for 10 kW. We measure the usable area during the site visit.

Yes, but they produce less on cloudy days. With net metering, the extra units you export in sunny months are adjusted against the monsoon months, so your yearly saving stays about the same. Rain also washes the dust off the panels.
